Hello there,

I like to think of my Vs project as a video version of street style photography. They are a chance to spend a little longer than a single frame with someone. But it’s hard to walk up to someone on the street and ask them to spend an hour filming then and there, it requires a little bit more planning.

Personal style is best seen in motion and just as much about the person wearing the clothes as the clothes themselves, that’s difficult to capture in a single impromptu photograph and that’s why I started making my Vs style profile series.

I keep the set up as simple as possible: One camera, one outfit, one person, one location, one hour to film, one minute to view.

FYI: My inspiration comes from this guy. Hopefully I’m building on his work and doing my own thing, but I think the inspiration is obvious.
